Comparing the composite rubber spring to rubber spring, the former shape is resticted by metal spiral spring. Shortcomings:

(1)Temperature-resistance and oil-resistance are not good than that of steel springs.

(2) Shape of rubber spring is more simple than that of currugated hose used in engineering.But it is difficult to calculate its elastic propertities.

(3) Its mechanical properties are complicated due to its viscous elastic material, not pure elastic body.
